What I Am Really Thinking Is……

Jason Bay (free agent outfielder) will be announced today as the newest New York Met today, January 5th, 2010. In the press conference filled with flashes and media he will say how great it is to sign with such a dedicated and committed organization but then again all players say that to probably justify their signing bonus. Every ball player really wants to be a Yankee. So what’s really going through their head during their introductory press conference is more like, “I really like my Ford Focus but I would rather be driving a BMW “M” series instead.” He, deep down inside, really wishes he was playing across town.

    Stop.... Not every player wants to play for a the skankee's (sorry Yankees). Some players and fans still like to play baseball the old fashioned way. You know what I'm talking about. Remember what it was like on opening day when there were 162 games to be played and every one was as important as the next. The Yankees play 162 useless games. They start the season knowing they will make the play off. Where is the fun in that????
